Why can’t users disburse on a cancelled file that has uncleared Pre-Closing curatives to disburse back the earnest money or any other money due?
This is the intended functionality as the system does not take into account the file’s status. These roles and restrictions are limited to the curative and disbursement relationship rather than the file’s status.
A user with the internal role: Settlement: Override Curative Disbursement Restrictions will allow the user to still disburse on a file where all of the restricted, non-cleared curatives are present.
What is the character limit for the Internal Comment section of a curative item?
There is currently a 2,000 character limit.
