This demonstrates how to set up and use this integration.

Begin here: Contact NextAce at (714) 953-9300 or further information or to register for services. NextAce will need to have the Resware web URL, the DocumentTypeIDs for each document they provide to the file, and the username and password of the partner employee created in this set up.

Resware Website URL

NextAce needs the URL that is used to access the company’s Resware website. Edit the office where this integration will be implemented to note the Resware website URL. If this field is blank, then contact support@resware.qualia.com to request this information.

Create a NextAce Partner

Admin/Partners

  • Click New.
  • Enter the partner’s information and set the Partner Type to Searcher.
  • Click Edit Counties and enable the partner for the states and counties where the search integration will be used.
  • Click XML Config and select Enable XML Transmission of Notes and Documents and Don’t Also Send Notes and Documents via Email.
  • Click Save.
  • Click Save.

Note: This partner will need to be added to each file on which orders will be sent to NextAce.

Create a Partner Employee

Admin/Partners

  • Highlight the partner created above and click New in the partner employee area.
  • Enter a First Name.
  • Enter an Email Address.
  • Check Primary Contact, which will default this employee to the primary contact when the partner is added to the file.
  • Check Enabled in the Website Access area which allows the web services to be utilized.
  • Click Generate to populate a Password. This will ensure company-specific password requirements are met. Write down this password to use in the validation step.
  • Enable the following Website Roles:
    • Web Services: Add Documents
    • Web Services: Add Notes
    • Web Services: Order Placement
  • Click Save.

Note: The username and password for the employee will need to be provided to NextAce to ensure the documents are returned on the file’s Documents panel.

Password Validation

Website After a password is set or reset for a partner employee, the employee is required to enter a new password the next time they access the website. To ensure this integration is set up properly, log into the company’s Resware website with the username and password created in the prior step and create a new password. Provide this new password to NextAce.

Note: It may be beneficial to set the expiration date of this password out for an extended period of time, on the partner employee setup. Check with company-specific password security protocols to verify this will be acceptable or have a reminder in place to update this password as needed to ensure this integration’s service will not be interrupted.

Note: Provide the Username and Password to NextAce.

Set up the XML Client Information

Admin/General Setup/XML Clients

  • Highlight NextAce and click Edit.
  • Check Enabled to enable the integration.
  • Set the Web Service URL to https://p13xml.titleedge.com/openorder/wsNextace.cfc
  • Set the Outgoing Username to the email registered with NextAce.
  • Set the Outgoing Password to the password registered with NextAce.
  • Click Save.

Set up XML Panel on Products

Admin> Action Lists> Product Types

  • Edit each product on which enabling NextAce functionality is needed.
  • Click XML tab.
  • Add NextAce.
  • Click OK.
  • Click Save.
  • Click Close.

Resware DocumentTypeIDs

Admin/Documents and Templates/Document Types

NextAce needs IDs to send documents to files. Either use existing document types or add new ones, then provide a list DocumentTypeIDs to NextAce.

  • Click Add.
  • Enter the Document Type as needed.
  • Click Save.

To print a list of document types to Next Ace along with their corresponding DocumentTypeIDs.

  • Right-clicking in the grid and click View as Report.
    • Select Print to generate the list from the Report Viewer.

OR

  • Select Export to Excel to create a spreadsheet which can be sorted and information can be deprecated prior to printing if not necessary for this integration.

Set up an Action and Affect to Automate Order Placement with NextAce

Admin/Action Lists/Action Groups

  • Highlight the action group that has the action that should send the search and click Edit Actions.
  • Highlight the action that should be used to send the request and click Edit Affects.
  • In either the Start Task Marked Done Affects or Complete Task Marked Done Affects area, click Add.
  • Select the following in 5 – Marking Done Sends XML:
    • Select NextAce: Next Ace Request from the XML drop-down.
    • Select the Searcher partner type from the Send To: drop-down.
  • Click Save.

NOTE: Users can be notified on the action workflow by utilizing the NextAce triggers:

  • NextAce Information Received will be fired when search information is added to the file.
  • NextAce Property Changed will be fired when the property information has been changed on the file.
  • NextAce Rejected Received will be fired when NextAce rejects the order information.
  • NextAce Request Submitted will be fired when the search request has been successfully sent.

Examples on a File

Manual order placement

File/XML/Generic

  • The NextAce partner must be on the file in order to send requests.
  • Select NextAce: Next Ace Request from the XML Message drop-down to send search information.
  • Click Send.

NextAce will return the ordered product to the Documents panel of the file. If desired, action triggers may be set up based on the document types being added to the file.

Automatic order placement

File/Actions

  • The NextAce partner must be on the file in order to send order requests.
  • Highlight the action being used to send the search request to NextAce and click either Mark Started or Mark Completed, depending on where the affect was set.

The search document(s) will be returned from NextAce and added to the Documents panel of the file when the search is complete.

XML activity

File/XML/Generic 

This panel shows activity from the initial order placement to the documents being returned from NextAce via manual order or from an action.

Notes

File/Notes

This panel shows the note returned from NextAce with the document associations.

Documents

File/Documents

This panel shows the documents received from NextAce for the services requested.
