Searching for Partners

Overview

Demonstrates how to search for existing partners and partner employees within the system.

Searching by Company Name

Search/Partner Directory

OR

  • Click on the Search Partner Directory icon

  • Enter any number of fields in the search criteria for the company to be located:
    • Enter the Company Name of the partner.
    • Set the Partner Type of the partner.
    • Any number of fields can be searched on simultaneously. Only partners that match all of the criteria will be returned.
    • Use % as a wild card to match any number of characters in a text field (e.g. “%Bank” will locate “Freedom Bank”).
    • All text fields automatically end with a wildcard character and none are case sensitive (e.g. searching for “oak” will return “Oak” and “Oak Tree Financial”).
    • Click Search.

  • After clicking Search, all partners that match the search criteria will be listed in the Search Results grid.
  • To view a company’s profile, highlight the company and double-click on it or click View.

The View Partner window will appear.

  • Click Edit to modify the partner’s information.

NOTE: This button is visible only for users with the Admin/Partners internal user role right enabled.

Searching by Employee Name

  • Click on the Search Partner Directory icon

  • Enter any number of fields in the search criteria for the employee to be located:
    • Enter the First Name of the employee.
    • Enter the Last Name of the employee.
    • Enter the Email Address of the employee.
    • Any number of fields can be used to search simultaneously. Only employees that match all the criteria will be returned.
    • Use % as a wild card to match any number of characters in a text field (e.g. “%m” will locate “Adam”).
    • All text fields automatically end with a wildcard character and none are case sensitive (e.g. searching for “M” will return “Matt” and “Morticia”).
    • Click Search.

After clicking Search, all partners that match the search criteria will be listed in the Search Results grid.

  • If a partner from the list is highlighted, the grid on the right will populate with the employees for the selected partner.
  • To view an employee’s profile, highlight the employee in the list and double-click on it or click View.

The View Employee window will appear.

  • Click Edit to edit the employee’s information.

NOTE: This button is only visible for users who have the Admin/Partners internal user role enabled.
