Settlement Statement Versions


There are two ways to change the version of the settlement statement to be used on a file, either automatically by product type, or by modifying the file.

This will demonstrate how to set up the settlement statement version on product types and how to manually change the version by modifying the file.

Auto-Selecting Settlement Statement Version by Product Type

Certain product types should always use the new Closing Disclosure, while other product types do not require the new form and can still use the HUD or 2010 HUD forms.  The selection of the type of settlement statement can be auto-selected by setting the default on the Product Type.

Admin/Action Lists/Product Types

  • Select the desired product type.
  • Click Edit.
  • Select the Settlement Statement Version from the dropdown.
  • Click Save.

NOTE: The Default option was the 2010 HUD until 8/1/2015. After that the Default option became the Closing Disclosure.

Selecting the Settlement Statement Version for a File 

If the default Settlement Statement version is not the one you want for this file, and you need to change it for this particular file only, you can do that by modifying the file.

Admin/Modify Files

  • Enter the File Number to modify.
  • Click Load.
  • Set the Settlement Statement Version from the dropdown.
  • Click Save.

NOTE:  Only internal users with the general access role: Admin/Modify Files will be able to perform this function.
